What is ReeseStrong?
This past weekend, the Balducci Team sponsored the 8th annual ReeseStrong 5k. ReeseStrong is a non-profit organization that “helps families stay strong in the battle against childhood cancer.” We have supported ReeseStrong in their 5k the past few years, and we were excited to continue working with them for this year’s 5k race.
Race Day
Our company had a total of five employees, and their families, come out and participate in the event. We had a blast walking and running in the 5k. One of our very own employees, Cameron Hopper, won the first in his age group and 16th overall. To look at the rest of the results click here.
The ReeseStrong 5k was a great way to give back and get involved in the community. It was astounding to see so many people from the community and surrounding areas come out to the 5k, whether they participated in the race, or volunteered at the event. It was a great feeling to get together and raise money for Childhood Cancer Research.

In addition to supporting ReeseStrong, we were also delighted to showcase our partnership with Massey Cancer Center. Here’s a previous blog post of us making waiting room kits for them! We were happy to have shirts made that emphasizes our business and how we wish to give back in the community. Our #teambalducci shirts were a hit and we plan on wearing them to future events!
